Obituary for Stanley W. Bain

Stanley W. Bain, 75, of Lincoln University, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at home.

He was the husband of the late Mary Anne Laramore Bain.

Born in Clearfield, he was the son of the late John L. and Mary Michaels Bain.

Stanley was employed as a pressman with Suburban Publications, Wayne, PA.

He was a veteran of the US Airforce.

Stanley was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crum Lynne, Delaware County.

He is survived by one daughter, Becky Bain Morris (Wayne) of Lincoln University; one son, Donald McIvor (Tamela) of Oxford; one granddaughter, Ashley McIvor of West Chester; and one sister, Wendy Bain of Eddystone.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kaye Belton.

A graveside service will be held 10 am Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the Oxford Cemetery, 220 N. Third St., Oxford, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Brandywine River Valley Hospice, 121 Bell Tower Lane, Oxford, PA 19363.

Arrangements are being handled by the Edward L. Collins, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., Oxford, PA.
