Obituary for Clarence Lowell Thompson

Clarence Lowell Thompson, 73, of New Castle, DE, passed Sunday, November 18, 2018, at New Castle Health Rehabilitation Center, New Castle, DE.

Born on November 7, 1945, West Grove, he was the son of the late George, Sr. and Edith Marie White Thompson.

Clarence or Buck as he was often called was the seventh child born on the seventh day of the month.

He loved to sing and enjoyed talking and giving orders to family members. Clarence enjoyed life.

Clarence is survived by his three sisters, Anna Patterson of Middletown, DE, Charlotte Goins (Ricardo) of Philadelphia, PA, and Shirley Barnett of Bear, DE; one maternal aunt, Emma Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends of Newark Rehabilitation.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, George Thompson, Jr., Charles Thompson, Calvin Thompson, Ronald Thompson, and Arnold Thompson.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Edward L. Collins, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 86 Pine St., Oxford, where family and friends may visit from 10 – 11 am.

Interment will be in Oxford Cemetery.
