Robin Lynn Hamilton (née Heinbach), 51, of Doe Run, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 16, 2012, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She courageously battled glioblastoma multiforme for 18 months.

She was the wife of Marshall R. Hamilton, Sr., whom she shared nearly 36 years with.

Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of Harold H. and Doris P. (née Umbenhauer) Heinbach of Cochranville. Robin was a 1978 graduate of Octorara High School.

Robin was employed with UPS for 15 years, most recently at the customer care counter, at the West Chester facility.

Robin and her Husband attended Safe Harbor Baptist Church of Cochranville. She enjoyed traveling, especially to St. Thomas and the family cabin in Potter County; puzzles; sewing anything from puppets to mending clothes; antiquing; aerobics, with the Cochranville girls, and Zumba; and gardening. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. While volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, Robin was honored with the attainment of Brotherhood within the Order of the Arrow, Octoraro Lodge 22.

She is survived by her husband; parents; one sister, Sandra Heinbach of Harrisburg; four children, Neshaminy Hilton and her husband, Lawrence, of East Fallowfield, Marshall R. Hamilton, Jr. and his wife, Devyn, of Valley, Zach Hamilton and Ben Hamilton both at home; four grandchildren, Angela Hilton, Lance Hilton, Jenna Hamilton, Palynn Hamilton; and two more granddaughters expected soon.

A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, March 31, at Chapel Road Baptist Church, 15 Chapel Rd. Doe Run, PA where friends and family may call from 10am-12 Noon.

Interment will be private.
